ABOUT US
Thenukah Krishnan
An award winning Malaysian Photographer who's also a Civil Engineer.
Thenukah first started commercial wedding photography in 2013. Her interest was sparked at a very young age. It all began during school days, when she was the photographer for local charity events in an orphanage. Her style of photography was different as she makes the children's smile naturally to capture the real emotions. Getting a camera was difficult for a middle-class family but her father believed in her talent & persistence and got the first camera. Till now, the team has had the honour of being part of over 300 private events.
She is also passionate about destination weddings and is in the midst of expanding her horizons. She started out alone, and now she runs a team of 6 photographers and editors. Thenukah Krishnan Photography is not just another name; it is a brand. The brand that is synonymous with new-age cinematic photography with a touch of timelessness.
Ruby
Born and raised in Penang, Malaysia, Ruby is the backbone of the company. Ruby graduated in Mechatronics Engineering. She is the Cinematographer and the Social Media Manager of Thenukah Krishnan Photography. Her bubbly attitude with naturally loud and charismatic persona, eases the work process even in the most difficult situation.
Ruby have been doing social service from a very young age. She first picked up the camera alongside Thenukah for a charity event as well. Since then, the duo have been working closely together. Ruby's unique photographic foundation is rooted with moody undertones and otherworldly landscapes. She is a visual creator with a strong base on human emotion and expressive storytelling. Ruby loves creating images and clips that make the viewer feel as if they are stepping into a dream.
SIVA
Drone expert, graduated in Mechanical Engineering- Siva loves a good outdoor adventure to see some epic scenery, he believes life is as much about the food, the people, and the memories you create as it is the setting.
Siva values quality time with those he love more than anything else. Time spent outside: backpacking, driving, rock climbing, and paddle boarding–as well as cooking, playing board games, and late nights spent getting lost in conversation.
